  • Basics of Pressure-Treated Wood

    PDH Course Description:

    Some 85% of all pressure-treated wood used in the United States is Southern Pine. This course provides guidance for the specification of pressure-treated Southern Pine for various uses and exposures. Detailed preservative tables are given for specific products and applications. Details of approved industry standards, proper grade and quality marks for treated lumber are included, as is guidance on suitable fasteners and connectors.
