    PDH Course Description:

    This course provides a comprehensive and up-to-date description of home-building practices that are environmentally benign. Interactions between various practices are pointed out, as, for example, how the placement of windows can affect both interior lighting and passive solar heating. Both new-home construction and modifications to existing homes are considered. This course would be of particular interest to engineers in government agencies concerned with formulating and enforcing building regulations and standards. Engineers in the construction industry would also benefit from the course.
