    PDH Course Description:

    This course provides guidance for the design and construction of dry or wet, general purpose incinerators for combustible, non-hazardous waste materials. Design considerations are for field-based, rapid-construction, and a 5 year design life.

    • Definitions of basic components
    • Type I (Dry), and II (Wet) incinerators
    • Basic design requirements
    • Preliminary design and analysis
    • Material and equipment considerations
    • Heat recovery procedures
    • instrumentation and general specifications
