    This course is intended to introduce the basic principles and uses of electronic surveying equipment. Material presented here about electronic distance-measuring equipment, electronic positioning systems, laser equipment, and global positioning systems (GPS) equipment is general in nature and is not meant to replace the manufacturer’s operations handbook.
