    PDH Course Description:

    This course covers the basic principles applied in the generation of electrical power in the field. Additionally, this course will cover the operation/installation/maintenance of mobile generators for primary power, standby power and emergency power sources.

    • Introduction to power generation principles
    • Emergency and standby power procedures
    • Generator installation procedures
    • Servicing procedures associated with generators
    • Operation of distribution panels
    • Plant operations associated with generators
    • Generator power plant maintenance procedures
    • Components and operation of the TQG-B (Tactical Quiet Generator)
