This course covers the basic principles applied in the generation of electrical power in the field. Additionally, this course will cover the operation/installation/maintenance of mobile generators for primary power, standby power and emergency power sources.Topics:

- Emergency and standby power procedures
- Generator installation procedures
- Servicing procedures associated with generators
- Operation of distribution panels
- Plant operations associated with generators
- Generator power plant maintenance procedures
- Components and operation of the TQG-B (Tactical Quiet Generator)
