Online-PDH maintains provider approvals and registrations in jurisdictions that regulate continuing-education sponsors. Other boards evaluate courses under their own activity standards or recognize qualifying approval issued by another licensing authority.

Provider approval and course acceptance are related—but not identical
An approved-provider credential does not make every course acceptable in every jurisdiction. The course must still satisfy the applicable board’s requirements for subject matter, delivery format, instructional time, assessment, completion date, and documentation.
Provider Credentials
Jurisdictions with provider-review or registration systems
These credentials document Online-PDH’s participation in formal provider systems. Credentials remain subject to each jurisdiction’s renewal, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Online-PDH is included in the Maryland Board for Professional Engineers’ official directory of approved education providers under Donald W. Parnell, PE.
Florida continuing-education providers operate through a renewable provider-license system and must follow applicable course, completion-reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.
Indiana licenses engineering continuing-education providers. Because provider licenses have effective and expiration dates, current status should be confirmed through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency’s live verification service.
Current-status reminder: Provider licenses and registrations may have renewal dates. The official licensing authority’s live directory controls if a displayed credential number and an agency database ever differ.
New York Sponsor Recognition
Online-PDH uses New York’s substantially equivalent approval pathway
NY
Direct placement in NYSED’s sponsor directory is not the only recognized pathway
New York regulation 8 NYCRR 68.14(i)(2)(iii) deems approved a continuing-education sponsor that is approved by a licensing authority or agency of another jurisdiction under standards substantially equivalent to those of the New York State Education Department.
Online-PDH relies on this pathway through its approvals by other engineering licensing authorities whose sponsor standards address organized educational delivery, qualified subject-matter instruction, learning assessment, course records, participation or completion evidence, and regulatory oversight.
New York consideration
Online-PDH compliance approach
Recognized sponsor pathway
Maintain current approval documentation from other engineering licensing authorities with substantially equivalent sponsor standards.
Qualified instructional resources
Use qualified engineers, academics, technical authors, instructors, and subject-matter reviewers appropriate to course content.
Learning assessment
Require a course examination or other documented method of verifying learning and successful completion.
Provider records
Retain course information, instructional materials, instructor qualifications, learner activity, assessment, completion, and certificate records.
Course eligibility
Identify courses whose technical, professional-practice, law, ethics, or public-welfare subject matter fits New York’s acceptable areas.
Completion documentation
Issue certificates identifying the learner, provider, course, completion date, and continuing-education hours.
Course-level limitations still apply: New York does not accept every course merely because the sponsor qualifies. The particular course must address an acceptable professional subject and use an acceptable learning format. Courses requiring a sponsor self-reporting form are not accepted.
Historical Credential
North Carolina approval is no longer presented as a required credential
NC
Historical sponsor number: S-0572
Course qualification now depends on the governing CPC rules and the activity itself
Online-PDH previously displayed North Carolina sponsor number S-0572. Because a North Carolina provider credential is not required for a licensee to receive credit from an otherwise qualifying activity, the former approval letter is not presented as a current prerequisite or guarantee of course acceptance.
North Carolina licensees should select relevant courses, satisfy the Board’s current ethics and professional-competency requirements, and retain appropriate completion documentation.
Licensee responsibility: This page documents Online-PDH’s provider credentials and recognized approval pathways; it is not legal advice or a guarantee that every course will be accepted by every board. Requirements and credential status can change. Licensees should confirm current provider status and course eligibility with the applicable licensing authority before reporting credit.
