    PDH Course Description:

    This course provides a comprehensive examination of engineering contracts and technical specifications as they apply to professional practice in the United States. It equips licensed engineers with the tools necessary to understand, draft, interpret, and administer contracts and specifications for design and construction projects. 

    Topics include contract formation, types of contracts, legal and ethical obligations, technical specification formatting, risk allocation, submittal processes, change orders, claims, disputes, and the roles of engineers in contract enforcement. Emphasis is placed on real-world application in both public and private sector projects, including design-bid-build and design-build delivery systems.
