PDH Course Description:
This course provides guidance for the design and construction of dry or wet, general purpose incinerators for combustible, non-hazardous waste materials. Design considerations are for field-based, rapid-construction, and a 5 year design life.Topics:
- Definitions of basic components
- Type I (Dry), and II (Wet) incinerators
- Basic design requirements
- Preliminary design and analysis
- Material and equipment considerations
- Heat recovery procedures
- instrumentation and general specifications
