    PDH Course Description:

    This course provides a comprehensive explanation of Nevada’s statutory and regulatory framework governing professional engineering practice. It explains the structure and legal authority of the Nevada Revised Statutes and the Nevada Administrative Code, and how they define licensure, scope of practice, disciplinary authority, professional responsibility, and compliance obligations.

    Emphasis is placed on interpreting the Nevada Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors rules, maintaining lawful practice, understanding enforcement mechanisms, and applying statutory requirements to real-world engineering activities. The course is designed to help engineers practicing in Nevada maintain regulatory compliance, strengthen professional accountability, and understand how legal requirements affect design, documentation, and professional conduct.

    Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

    • Distinguish between Nevada Revised Statutes and Nevada Administrative Code provisions governing engineering practice
