  • Introduction to Biological 3D Printing

    PDH Course Description:

    This course introduces the foundational principles and applications of biological three-dimensional (3D) printing, a field at the intersection of engineering, biotechnology, and medicine. Participants will learn how additive manufacturing techniques are adapted to print living cells, biomaterials, and complex tissue structures. 

    The course explores the scientific, technical, and engineering challenges involved in creating functional biological constructs, while also discussing potential applications in regenerative medicine, pharmaceutical testing, and biofabrication. This introductory material is designed to provide engineers and technical professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the key methods, materials, equipment, and applications driving the advancement of biological 3D printing.

    Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
