  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Illinois PEs

    PDH Course Description:

    This course is specifically for professional engineers licensed within the state of Illinois. PEs who wish to use this course within other jurisdictions should contact their boards of licensure to verify that it is acceptable. It is based on a publication released by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

    PLEASE NOTE: This is a course which the Illinois board allows the licensee to take and complete more than once. If you have taken this course in the past, and wish to re-take this course with a new date of completion, simply send us an email at: cadistics@yahoo.com, and we will delete the old certificate from the database, so that the new certificate properly reflects the present date. Please remember, that you will need to retake the course in its entirety.

    Topics:

    • an explanation of sexual harassment consistent with the Illinois Human Rights Act
    • examples of conduct that may constitute unlawful sexual harassment
    • a summary of Federal and State statutory laws concerning sexual harassment including remedies available to victims
    • a summary of employer responsibilities in the prevention, investigation, and corrective measures of sexual harassment
