  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Illinois PEs

    PDH Course Description:

    This course is specifically for professional engineers licensed within the state of Illinois. PEs who wish to use this course within other jurisdictions should contact their boards of licensure to verify that it is acceptable. It is based on a publication released by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

    Topics:

    • an explanation of sexual harassment consistent with the Illinois Human Rights Act
    • examples of conduct that may constitute unlawful sexual harassment
    • a summary of Federal and State statutory laws concerning sexual harassment including remedies available to victims
    • a summary of employer responsibilities in the prevention, investigation, and corrective measures of sexual harassment
