Our Newsletter
Welcome to our newly-designed website, built on a newer and more robust version of the Learning Management System (LMS), Moodle! Our site will make changes to the design and function of the site from time to time, in order to make the learning experience more user-friendly, and functional. This newsletter is provided as a means to keep licensee customers up to date on the changes that will be occurring.
Recent Changes to our site:
(throughout 2023) New Courses added:
- (25) New Surveyor courses added - these courses provide more content to choose from for PLSs. Also these courses apply to PE disciplines as well.
- (30) New courses on Water Resources
- (12) New courses on HSW, Ethics, Failure, State Specific
- (8) New courses on Electrical
- (35) New courses for Geotechnical, Environmental, Agricultural, Foundations
(1-1-2023) Payment Service update:
- Beginning on Jan. 1, 2023, we will switch from our previous credit card payment processing service, Paypal, to a newer, more reliable and user friendly service, Stripe.
- Due to the recent rising costs of operating our site, we have needed to raise the price of our single credit option to $15.00. (Though both the annual and biennial unlimited plans have remained the same low price.)
Previous Changes:
(9-2021) Course "Buttons" update:
- All course buttons were replaced with more descriptive labels and hover-over functionality.
(8-18-2021) Dashboard updated:
- "Dashboard" feature was updated to display student's enrolled courses (in order of those last accessed).
- NOTE: to access your enrolled courses list via "Dashboard", click on the dropdown menu next to your name in the upper right corner of the homepage
(5-4-2021) New Categories added:
- Site/Land Development
- Disaster and Failure Case Studies
- State Specific / Laws / Rules
- Fire Science / Engineering
(5-3-2021) "My Certificates" section added:
- New certificates" section was added to the student "Profile" section.
- This will allow students to view their awarded certificates within their personal profile page, under a section called "My Certificates".
- NOTE: The personal "Profile" is found in the dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the homepage (www.online-pdh.com).
