    PDH Course Description:

    This course provides guidance on the selection, installation, and maintenance of exterior siding materials for residential structures. The course begins with an overview of the different types of siding available, including vinyl, metal, wood, engineered wood, plywood, fiber-cement, and EIFS/stucco. It then discusses the factors to consider when selecting siding, such as the climate, budget, and desired aesthetic.

    Also provided are detailed instructions on the installation of each type of siding. It includes information on preparing the substrate, installing the siding material, and finishing the installationas well as maintenance and repair of siding.
