It is intended for licensed engineers and other professionals engaged in the planning, development, or regulation of controlled environment agriculture (CEA). Topics span structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and water systems, including design codes, energy modeling, hydroponic technologies, automation, and sustainability frameworks.Topics:
- Evaluate structural and environmental design considerations unique to vertical farms
- Understand integration strategies for HVAC, lighting, and nutrient systems
- Design water treatment and recycling systems specific to vertical agriculture
