    This comprehensive course explores the principles and practices involved in the planning, design, surveying, and development of transportation corridors, with a primary emphasis on roadway corridors. It encompasses the full spectrum of corridor types including utility easements, transmission lines, pipelines, and railways. 

    The course provides in-depth coverage of environmental constraints, legal boundaries, surveying and geodetic considerations, alignment design, right-of-way acquisition, access management, and multi-jurisdictional coordination. Special attention is given to the integration of transportation corridor development within broader land use and regional planning frameworks, as well as the implications for professional surveying practices.
