  • Development of Utility Corridors: Electrical Transmission and Distribution Lines

    PDH Course Description:

    This course provides a comprehensive overview of the planning, design, and development of utility corridors for electrical transmission and distribution systems. It covers the key technical, environmental, regulatory, and logistical considerations associated with routing, right-of-way acquisition, corridor configuration, structural and electrical design, and long-term corridor management. 

    Emphasis is placed on the integration of civil and electrical engineering practices to ensure reliability, efficiency, and environmental stewardship in the development of both overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems. Participants will gain a working understanding of how utility corridors serve as critical infrastructure components supporting regional and national power delivery.
