  • Audit-Assist Warranty:

In the event you should be audited by your state board for CPC compliance, we can assist by providing the following items to your board, should you require them:

    • a copy of your purchase receipt, in the form of a PDF copy of the Paypal transaction.
    • a backup copy of your certificate of completion should you lose your PDF copy.
    • a copy of the examination (quiz), for their review.
    • a PDF version of the study materials, along with a description of how the materials comply with your state's, and NCEES guidelines for CPC activities.
    • Instructor qualifications and an overview of our website's instructor-to-student interaction procedures.

Typical basis for a state's audit process:
    • The board may select, on a random basis, licensees for audit as follows: (1) 10% of the total number of licensees if the total number is less than a given amount; or (2) 5% of the total number of licensees if the total number of licensees exceeds 3,000 or more.
    • The board might require that a different % be selected for audit, if the board finds that a different % to be audited, is necessary to protect public health and safety.
A licensee selected for audit will be notified by the board. Within 30 days of notification, the licensee should submit to the department, documentation to verify completion of the continuing competency activities claimed on the statement of CPC compliance submitted with the application for license renewal.

    In addition:
    • A licensee subject to audit is responsible for maintaining adequate and detailed records of all continuing competency activities completed and shall make the records available to the board upon request.
    • A licensee shall maintain the records until the later of (1) four years from the date of completion of the continuing competency activity; or (2) if the licensee was selected for audit, the date that the department notifies the licensee that the audit is completed.
    • The board will extend the period for providing documentation of completion of continuing competency activities if the department finds that the licensee has good cause for the need for additional time to submit the documentation required.
    • The board will notify the respective board of a licensee’s failure to comply with the department’s request for records.
    • For professions licensed by the department, the department will consider the licensee’s failure to comply with the department’s request for records as grounds for imposition of disciplinary sanctions to the extent allowed.
