  • What is meant by "Try Before you Buy"?

A unique feature of Online-PDH is our "Try Before you Buy", open access website functionality. Our website does not require that engineering licensees complete a purchase prior to taking a course. All that is necessary in order to get started is for you to set up a user account, find a few courses you like, then "enroll" in them.

Then if you like how our site works, and feel comfortable with the quality of the courseware, then simply complete a purchase of one of the unlimited plans (annual or biennial) or purchase a quantity of single PDH credits which are equal to the amount of PDH credits you plan to submit to your licensing board. (for example if you take an ethics course which is 1 PDH, and a geotechnical course which is 6 PDH credits, then you would need to make a purchase of 7 individual PDH credits by using the dropdown purchase option).

If no purchase is initially required to take a course, then how does Online-PDH guarantee that a purchase is eventually made by the customer?

If you like the courseware that you have viewed, and desire to complete the course for PDH credit, then we ask that you then complete a purchase or either single credits or an unlimited plan.

    The reason being:

All US state boards require that a licensee submit valid proof that they have actually purchased the courses which they submit for continuing educational credit. Should a licensee take all of their courses first then complete a purchase at a later date, then the dates on the certificate of completion and the date of purchase will not coincide.

We are not able to backdate a purchase, so it is imperative that a purchase be completed prior to issuance of any certificate of completion!
