Terms of Use
By using the Online-PDH.com (and Online-PDH.org) website, you agree to accept the terms and conditions described below. Note: Online-PDH.com is privately owned and is located in Brevard County, within the state of Florida.About our site ("Open-Access"):
Online-PDH is an "open-access" website. By using the term "open-access", we refer to the fact that no purchase is required to set up a user account and begin the process of taking courses. We have set up our site in this manner, so that students can fully access and review any courses they wish to take prior to purchasing. Once a student has reviewed the courses they wish to take, it is requested that a full purchase be made to cover the courses taken, prior to any certificates of completion being awarded.
What if no payment is made for the courses taken?
Most if not all state boards of licensure require that a valid proof of purchase be supplied for every PDH credit submitted to meet CE compliance. This is why no students should click on the "Print the Certificate of Completion" button prior to completing a purchase, as this will set the date on the certificate to pre-date the purchase, rendering the certificate potentially invalid. To submit a certificate of completion which has not been purchased could be deemed as fraudulent by a licensing review board during a CE compliance audit. Depending on the state of licensure, this could mean some level of disciplinary action upon the licensee, ranging from a warning to the suspension of their license to practice. Online-PDH takes no responsibility for invalid certificates of completion due to non-payment.
Keeping track of a student's unlimited PDH membership plan's date of expiration
We also ask that students keep track of the date upon which their unlimited plans will expire, as we have no digital mechanism in place to track expiration dates, since the payment process is not linked to the website's availability (ie. the student's user account is not locked once a membership expires).
Abuse of the Open Access Policy
Online-PDH reserves the right to administratively lock any user account where an abuse of the open access policy is observed. Examples include: excessive course enrollments (far exceeding the reasonable number of courses required for any of the state boards), as well as certificates of completion being awarded without a purchase being completed.
Note: we will always contact the student prior to any locking of accounts, to give the student plenty of time to complete a purchase.
