  • Record-keeping Policy of Online-PDH (Cadistics, LLC)

The policy of Online-PDH for keeping records, is to save all certificates of completion for a period of no less than (7) seven years from the date of issuance. However, we have presently archived all certificates of completion for every certificate ever issued since our first issued certificates in 2009.

    Questions (click to expand):
Most state licensing boards do not require you to actually submit your course certificates when renewing your license, although you may be required to list these continuing education activities. In addition, should you ever be randomly audited by your state board for CE compliance, you will need to provide the course certificates of completion as well as valid receipt of purchase for those CE hours.

The licensed professional engineer (PE) bears the responsibility for maintaining a record of their individual continuing educational history (certificates, valid receipts of purchase, etc). Once you have successfully completed a course, the certificate of completion should be printed and safely saved, in the event that you are audited by your state licensing board. Likewise, the receipt of purchase for these certificates should also be stored safely in a location for future reference, should you be audited by your board of licensure.

After you have completed a course, you will be able to print a certificate of completion for your records. This certificate has been designed to meet the requirements of the various state engineering boards.

Once a quiz is successfully passed with a score of 70% or greater, then all you will need to do is return to the course page and click on the blue "Print Certificate" button, and this will download a pdf formatted copy of your certificate of completion.

To print duplicate copies of your certificates, simply return to the course page (as described above), and click on the "Print Certificate" button. This will re-download the pdf file for the certificate.
