- Classification of compressed air systems
- Low, medium, high pressure systems
- Air quality requirements
- Components of air compressors and auxiliary equipment
- Types of distribution systems
- Maintenance requirements for compressed air delivery systems
- Single action, reciprocating, rotary, helical screw, dynamic centrifugal compressors
- Filters, silencers, intercoolers, aftercoolers,
- Separators, dryers, receivers
- Lubrication procedures and lubricant types
- Prime movers: Synchronous, Induction, DC
- Sizing, testing, and installing air distribution systems
