This course offers a brief introduction to the layout and construction of a typical "chain-link" style fence system. The chain link fence system is the most widely used and accepted type of fencing used, for security and ingress/egress control of industrial, electrical / mechanical, residential, construction facilities.Topics:
- Properties of metal and metal alloys
- Layout of metal fencing systems
- Installation of terminal posts, line posts, terminal post fittings
- Installation of top rails, tension wires, fabric ties, gates
- Procedure of hanging and stretching fence fabric
