    PDH Course Description:

    This course offers a brief introduction to the layout and construction of a typical "chain-link" style fence system. The chain link fence system is the most widely used and accepted type of fencing used, for security and ingress/egress control of industrial, electrical / mechanical, residential, construction facilities.

    Topics:

    • Properties of metal and metal alloys
    • Layout of metal fencing systems
    • Installation of terminal posts, line posts, terminal post fittings
    • Installation of top rails, tension wires, fabric ties, gates
    • Procedure of hanging and stretching fence fabric
