Course Description:
This course covers the basic principles and methods used in constructing roads and airfields, or portions of roads and airfields.Principles and methods discussed include:
conducting surveying operations required before or during construction, performing soil sample analysis in the field or laboratory, providing on-site construction quality control by taking material or compaction samples, developing as-built drawings, planning and scheduling, and terminology, methods, and materials of road / airfield construction.
