New Hampshire Rules for CE

Subject New Hampshire - Continuing Educational Requirements:
Hours Required
30 PDH biennially
(1 PDH unit = 1 CPC unit = 1 CPD unit)

Renewal Dates The last day of the month of the licensee’s birth month. The year of the renewal is based on the year of initial licensure. Licenses initially issued in even-numbered years renew in even-numbered years. Licenses initially issued in odd-numbered years renew in odd-numbered years.
Board Approved Courses or Providers?
The Board does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Each engineer must determine whether an activity meets the Board’s requirements.

Approved Subject Matter: Technical, ethical, or managerial content relevant to the practice of engineering.
Are Online Courses Allowed? The New Hampershire board specifically lists internet-based courses as acceptable. There is no limit on the number of credits that may be earned using online courses.
PDH Carryover:
Maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.

Other Specific Requirements:
  1. Recordkeeping for Audit Purposes: PDH completion records must be maintained for a minimum of 4 years for audit purposes. (See our Audit-Assist Guarantee!)
